JUVÉDERM Collection
Voluma · Vollure · Volbella · Volux · UltraJUVÉDERM is a family of crosslinked hyaluronic acid fillers from Allergan Aesthetics. Each product is engineered for a specific layer and indication — Voluma for cheek lift, Vollure for nasolabial folds, Volbella for refined lip work, Volux for the jawline, and Ultra for general line softening. Your injector selects the product based on the area, the depth, and the result you want.
The science, plainly.
Smooth, cohesive HA gel is placed into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer using a fine needle or blunt cannula. Each JUVÉDERM product uses Allergan's Vycross technology to varying degrees, which controls lift capacity and longevity. The HA binds water locally and remains in place until naturally resorbed over 12 to 24 months.
What to expect in the room.
Topical numbing, then careful microdroplet injection. Lidocaine is included in JUVÉDERM products, so comfort improves rapidly. Mild swelling and possible bruising for 24 to 72 hours. We schedule a complimentary two-week settling check.
Sleep elevated the first night. Avoid heat, alcohol, and vigorous exercise for 24 hours. Arnica helps any bruising.
The honest timeline.
Individual response varies. What follows is the typical arc we observe in our clinic.
- 01Immediately
Visible volume; some early swelling.
- 02Week 2
Filler settles; we assess and refine if needed.
- 03Month 9 to 24
Gradual resorption; we plan maintenance ahead of complete loss.
The questions we hear most.
- Which JUVÉDERM is right for me?
- It depends on the area: Voluma for cheek lift, Volux for jawline, Vollure for medium folds, Volbella for refined lip and tear-trough work, and Ultra for general line softening. Your injector selects per visit.
- Can JUVÉDERM be reversed?
- Yes — all hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that dissolves HA. This is a meaningful safety feature.
- Why not start with the biggest result?
- Our doctrine is to under-treat and refine. We err on lower doses and re-touch at the two-week visit. Faces look better at 80 percent than at 100 percent.
